Going Home
Our dear friend and sister in Christ Virginia Bird passed away this past Saturday evening around 8:30pm. Virginia was a Jesus follower her entire life and would have been 94 years old in 2 weeks. She was married 71 years. (Amazing!)
She is a great example of faithfulness to Christ and all of us can imitate her as she imitated Christ.
Virginia is the mother of Karen Fletcher. Karen did an absolute amazing job caring for her mother right up to the very end. All of us could hope to have someone like Karen in our lives when we need to be cared for.
On Sunday Darryl spoke about the fullness of Christ. After the message was over Karen said she knows her mom is experiencing the fullness of Christ first hand now.
That is our goal as Jesus followers.
There will be a memorial service for Virginia after this time of social distancing is over.
