Thankfulness Jar

Each day this week you can ask everyone in your household to write down on a small slip of paper something that they are grateful for. When you get up for breakfast on Thanksgiving day you can take turns reading out loud what everyone written. If you live alone consider asking the folks who you will be with to do this during the week and then have everyone bring their Thankfulness Jar to Thanksgiving dinner and share in that context. If you don’t have a place to be on Thanksgiving please reach out to us at: info@arborbridgechurch.com

Show & Tell

Ask everyone who will be attending your Thanksgiving gathering to bring something that they are thankful for or something that represents something that they are thankful for. Guests could bring anything from a video game that they love to a piece of jewelry that has special meaning because of who it originally belonged to. At some point during your gathering allow your guests to share what they brought and why they are so thankful for it.
