Are there some people who feel more disappointment with God than others? Why is it that some people deal with the bad things God allows to happen in the world better than others? In this lesson Darryl talks about a key to dealing with our disappointment with God and how we can better deal with God not meeting all our expectations of Him

**Please forgive the sound quality of this recording. We are working to ensure the quality of the audio for the podcasts** Each of us is a leader because we have influence over someone. The question is how do we use our influence. Do we use it for our own benefit or do you leverage our strengths for the benefit of others. One way we can use our strength to benefit others is by looking for people in our lives that we can encourage or equip. In this lesson Darryl talks about the importance of investing in the people around us.
Chasing Superman 3
In this 3rd installment of the series "Chasing Superman" Darryl looks at some things that we can do to change our hearts. In this teaching Darryl shares information researched from the 242 church, Andy Stanley and others to make the point that real leadership is born out of having the right heart.
Chasing Superman2
Great leaders are men and women who know the rules. They are often people who follow the rules. But rule following in and of itself does not make you a good leader. Rules do not have the power to create a truly great leader. A great leader is defined by something better than following rules. In this teaching Darryl asks his friend Jay Estes to talk a bit about what makes a great leader.
Chasing Superman 1
Darryl introduces this sermon series by talking about how the church sometimes uses the Bible to make heavy commands and burdens that no one can bear. When we place heavy burdens on people they often give up. On the other side of the coin as leaders each of us should do our best to bear the burden of leadership without giving up and keep tension between who we are and who we could be.
Graduation Sunday 2013
On this particular Sunday our church celebrated our graduating high school seniors. Darryl uses this opportunity to speak a bit about how it is important for us to have a better goal for our lives than making a name for ourselves.
Multiply Part 6
In this last sermon in the Multiply series Darryl talks about how it is important to work with the end in mind and asks us all to not give up what we want most for what we want now.
Multiply part 4
The Old Testament can be a difficult to explain or teach to people. There are so many difficult subjects about the Old Testament that seem to make God "look bad". As a part of our discipling series called "Multiply" Darryl gives us some tools for duplicating our faith in and love for Christ in others. The information shared today (from www.multiplymovement.com) helps us understand why God does some of what He does in the Old Testament.
Mother's Day 2013
You may not be a parent, but everyone can be a spiritual parent. This is what God has called each of us to be when He told us to make disciples. On this Mother's Day Darryl shares a lesson based on some information from Saddleback Church that talks about how the ladies of the congregation can be spiritual mothers. Each one of us need to take spiritual responsibility for people in our lives.
Multiply part 3
When we are teaching people about God through the Word of God do we ever pause to tell them what the over-arching story of the Bible is? In this lesson Darryl shares the over arching story of the Bible. If we understand the main story that the Bible is trying to communicate it will help us understand everything else we read.
