When can I do something awesome like this?
Date: Saturday, May 6th, 2023
Time: 9:00 AM until about 3:00 PM. You can come and go as you need to.
We will send out the home address via the weekly church email. Email Darryl to join email list.
Where is the house we will be working on?
We will be working at a home in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area. Before the event we will send out the house address in the weekly church email.
What can I expect when I help out?
We need people of all skill levels and talents for tasks that include gardening, yard work, trash hauling, painting, general maintenance, and carpentry. It is a great opportunity to spend the day together, share your talents, learn a new skill, and make a significant impact on the homeowner’s life. We will be working outside only, so dress for the weather. Please bring tools to use during this project. (Be sure to put your name on your tools.)
For safety reasons we ask that children work on projects with their parents supervision so that they are being kept safe at all times.
We will be providing lunch and water throughout the day. A port-a-john stocked with hand sanitizer will be on site.
If you are not able to make it to this event/ or if you would like to support it financially you can support what is being done by giving online at: arborbridgechurch.com/give On that site there will be a drop down menu where you can choose to give towards the home project. Our giving goal for this event is $1000.
