What is a faith promise and how do I do it?

What is a Faith Promise? Here is a short video that explains this cool step of faith.

One of our Elders, David Hildreth shares a story of how God uniquely provided in one of his own commitments to a faith promise.

Each year we have 2 - 3 times a year when we give to a special cause or ministry that we want to support on top of what we normally give as a way of being generous toward God and His kingdom. We call these special offerings our Big Gives.

Our Big Dates this year are: Sunday July 13th 2025 for Keith and Grace Gafner, the missionaries we help to support and

Sunday October 26th 2025 for our Thanksgiving Project where we give Thanksgiving groceries away to more than 100 families

What we have found though is that whenever we have a Big Gives our regular giving drops  - we take the money that we normally give and we give that money for our Big Gives. These special collections support key ministries but they should be in addition to, not instead of

Because our regular giving goes down when we do Big Gives we want to approach our Big Gives differently than we have in the past.

We want to introduce what we are calling a Faith Promise.

Faith promise is a promise with God not based on what I have but on what God will provide

Its a commitment between God and I that stretches my faith

Its an agreement you make with God to give a specific amount for our Big Gives

Its a promise you make in faith that God will provide additional funds into your hands so that you can give

If God doesn’t provide its cool but if He does then you give it.
